Zen 1172: Thorium seems to be a good idea

I kept waiting for the "but" and it didn't happen. My knowledge of nuclear fuels is nowhere near good enough to question the assertions made here, but this chap is certainly a very compelling speaker. He's talking about Liquid Flouride Thorium Reactors, asserts that they are ridiculously safe and says that you can hold a lifetime's supply of energy in a ball of thorium that would fit in the palm of your hand. All these seem like good things and I thought you might be interested.

Zen 1171: Incredibly, this man makes Piers Morgan look like a reasonable and intelligent human being

Alex Jones is syndicated to more than 140 radio stations across the US and has millions of listeners. He also appears to be quite certifiable. At one point he calls Morgan "a Redcoat".

Zen 1170: Comebacks after long absences are ill advised

This is David Bowie's first single for a decade and it's surprisingly not shit.

Thursday

Zen 1169: Crazy elastic parkour man does incredible things to a dubstep soundtrack

Physically, this seems mostly impossible. Gravity should intervene and some point and royally fuck him up, but it simply doesn't. I am forced to conclude that gravity has favourites.

Wednesday

Zen 1166: Milk in my sippy cup

I normally hate this sort of stuff. No, not small children ... well, maybe ... but this is very well done.
