Zen 997: How to find out if you live in the best country in the world

Newsweek has done a good little infographic showing how each of the world's nations ranks according to education, health, quality of life, economic dynamism and political environment. Blighty does OK, but Finland is where it's at apparently. Clearly weather is not a factor.

  1. The UK is 8th, globally, for education?
    I call bullshit.

Political environment has South Africa, Chile, Greece, Cost Rica, Israel, Portugal, Spain and Ireland ahead of the UK? Not being jingoistic, but that's a crock.

  2. That is bollocks.

They seem to have overweighted political participation, which in the UK is crap compared to the likes of South Africa and Portugal. If you're going to treat any of those disproportionately, political stability is surely the one.
